Taxi Mood and the services covered
These terms apply to services offered under the Taxi Mood name by the business identified below: taxi, private chauffeur, airport transfers, business travel, events, long-distance journeys and urgent parcel delivery. Bookings can be arranged through the website, telephone, email or WhatsApp.
Services cover Braine-l’Alleud, Waterloo and the surrounding area, as well as destinations agreed with our team. Special requirements, prices and availability are confirmed before you commit.
The details of each journey supplement these terms. By submitting the form, you accept these terms and acknowledge having read the privacy policy. Submission is a request only: it neither confirms a journey nor authorises a payment. Mandatory statutory rights continue to apply.
Request and confirmation
- Provide the service, addresses, date, time, passengers, luggage and contact details.
- An acknowledgement may supply a reference. It confirms receipt, not a booking.
- Our team checks vehicle and driver availability and specifies the price or calculation method and arrangements.
- The journey is confirmed after agreement on these details and fulfilment of any previously announced confirmation condition, such as a deposit.
Submitting a form, choosing a Google address or opening WhatsApp does not, by itself, confirm a journey.
Prices, quotes and included services
“From” prices are indicative and are not quotes for every destination. The euro price or calculation method, applicable taxes and foreseeable extra charges are specified before you commit.
The proposal takes account of the route, timing, waiting and special requirements. Changes, additional stops, extra waiting or a return requested after confirmation may require a revised proposal. Relevant charges must be explained.
When a quote is issued, its document specifies its validity period and what is included.
Payment and invoices
The website form does not collect card details or trigger payment. Accepted payment methods, payment dates and any deposit are agreed with our team.
Invoices use the details you provide. For a business invoice, supply accurate company details and the VAT number before issue. Any late-payment consequences follow the communicated conditions and applicable law.
Preparing for pickup
Check your contact details, locations and date before sending. Website times are in Belgian local time. Remain reachable on the number supplied.
- State the actual number of passengers and bags, including oversized luggage.
- Tell us about assistance, child seats, animals or vehicle preferences; feasibility must be confirmed.
- Be at the agreed place and time. Contact our team promptly if you cannot find the driver.
Airport transfers and flight delays
For a flight-related pickup, provide relevant flight details, including its number and scheduled time. Flight monitoring helps planning but does not replace contact when a major change occurs.
Waiting, meeting, parking and delayed-flight arrangements are those confirmed by our team. Allow enough time to reach the airport, considering your airline’s recommendations and traffic conditions.
Changes, cancellation and no-shows
To change or cancel a booking, contact Taxi Mood by telephone or email using the details below, quoting the reference and pickup time. Changes require our team’s agreement and are subject to availability.
For any confirmed journey, cancellation is free if received at least 24 hours before the agreed pickup time. This deadline is measured against the pickup time in Belgian local time.
If cancellation is received less than 24 hours before pickup, or the customer does not attend the agreed pickup, 100% of the agreed journey price will be charged. Any deposit already paid is deducted from that amount, not added to it. This rule does not apply to unconfirmed requests.
Please notify our team promptly of any unforeseen event. Charges remain subject to mandatory legal provisions, including consumer rights and applicable force majeure rules.
If Taxi Mood cancels a confirmed journey, our team informs you and may offer an alternative with your agreement. If the service is not provided, payments for it are refunded, without prejudice to your other statutory rights.
Passenger transport and withdrawal
Passenger transport contracts do not benefit from the general fourteen-day withdrawal right applicable to many distance purchases. Cancellation depends on the arrangements announced for the booking, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
An enquiry or request for a quote is not, on its own, a confirmed transport contract.
Safety, vehicles and conduct
Passenger and luggage numbers must fit the assigned vehicle. Wear seat belts and follow the driver’s safety instructions. Dangerous or illegal items may not be carried.
The driver may refuse a situation that endangers people or the vehicle. Incidents and their consequences are assessed according to the circumstances and applicable rules.
Photographs do not guarantee a particular brand, model or powertrain. Any essential requirement, including an electric vehicle, needs express confirmation.
Disruption and responsibility
External events may affect traffic or pickup arrangements. Contact our team if an incident requires the journey to be reorganised.
Complaints are assessed against the facts, agreed commitments and applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory consumer rights.
Complaints and dispute resolution
Send a complaint to Taxi Mood with the reference, journey date, relevant facts and supporting documents needed to examine the matter and seek an amicable solution.
If the dispute remains unresolved, consumers may contact the Consumer Mediation Service, subject to its jurisdiction and admissibility rules: North Gate II, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels; contact@mediationconsommateur.be.
Belgian law applies subject to the mandatory protections available to you. Jurisdiction follows applicable rules; no exclusive court is imposed on consumers here.
